About Garuda

Named for the
one who flies fastest.

In Indian myth, Garuda is Vishnu's mount — part man, part eagle, built for distance. We borrowed the name for the same reason riders borrow our bikes: to cover more ground than a bus route ever could.

Our Story

Started on Beach Road, with three bikes.

Garuda Bike & Car Rentals began as a small stand on Beach Road, renting scooters to weekend visitors who didn't want to deal with autos and app-cab surge pricing. Word travelled through Vizag's homestays and hostels, and the fleet grew — first more scooters, then cruisers for the Araku crowd, then a handful of cars for families and groups.

The name stuck because it fit the pitch: give people a way to move through this city and its coastline under their own power, without waiting on anyone else's schedule.

What Hasn't Changed

Every vehicle, handed over by someone who checked it.

We're still small enough that the person who delivers your bike is the same person who services it. That means fewer surprises — no dead batteries, no bald tyres, no "someone will call you back."

As the fleet has grown, the promise stayed the same: doorstep delivery, honest pricing, and a phone that gets picked up.

What We Stand For

Three rules we don't bend on.

No Surprise Charges

The price we quote is the price you pay. Deposits are returned in full, on the spot, when the vehicle comes back clean.

We Show Up On Time

Delivery windows are real windows, not "sometime this afternoon." If we're late, the first hour is free.

Safety Isn't Optional

Every rental leaves with a checked helmet, working lights, and brakes tested that morning — no exceptions for a "quick trip."

Come see the fleet in person.
